The reaming cutter head is an essential carrier for the raise boring machine during the bottom-up reverse reaming drilling operation. It is equipped with roller cutters, primarily used for breaking and cutting rock. Driven by the machine, the reaming cutter head is lifted and rotated by the drill pipe, causing the roller cutters to impact and penetrate the rock, breaking it and continuously peeling it off, thus achieving the purpose of upward reaming drilling of the shaft.
Our company can independently configure reaming cutter heads of different diameters for different models of raise boring machines. Generally, the diameters of reaming cutter heads are 0.9 meters, 1 meter, 1.2 meters, 1.5 meters, 1.8 meters, 2.0 meters, 2.5 meters, and 3 meters. Custom-made reaming cutter heads can also be produced according to customer requirements. For the use of large-diameter raise boring machines, the cutter head is usually a challenge for underground transportation in mines. To facilitate underground transportation in mines, reaming cutter heads with a diameter greater than 1.5 meters usually adopt a modular design.
